Çalik Enerji
Çalık Enerji has achieved major accomplishments since the beginning of the 2000s thanks to the success in engineering, construction, supply and logistics for the projects undertaken in Turkmenistan. In the light of such achievements, Çalık Enerji has thus far operationalized 11 power plants with a total capacity of 2.330,20 MW, 1 power transmission/distribution plant and 1 switchyard and continues to operate in Turkmenistan with brand new projects.
Çalık Enerji completed the first and the largest combined cycle power plant of Uzbekistan, "478 MW Navoi Combined Cycle Power Plant" in 2012 by means of its vast experience and know-how.
Çalık Enerji then successfully completed and handed over the largest power plants of Iraq with a total capacity of 2.000 MW namely "1.250 MW Al-Khairat Simple Cycle Power Plant" and "750 MW Nainawa Simple Cycle Power Plant" projects. "The Al-Khairat Power Plant" with a capacity of 1.250 MW constructed by Çalık Energy in Iraq was selected the "Best Global Industrial Project” and awarded the "Global First Prize" under the category of "Industrial Facility" in 2014 by the "Engineering News Record (ENR) Magazine, one of the world’s most prestigious institutions in engineering and contracting.
Occupying high ranks every year, Çalık Enerji ranked 89th in the List of Top 250 International Contractors of the Year 2015 released by "Engineering News Record (ENR)" magazine as per 2014 records. Çalık Enerji's top position among contractors operating in energy systems and fossil-fueled power systems is well-established, as well.
